Sept 2021
Every day, 2 Australian families are given the heart-breaking news that their child has cancer. We are supporting Georgia Bower, and her 2 young girls, as they walk 100kms to support these kids. Here’s a snippet from her campaign:
“I’m walking to raise funds for Camp Quality to support their services and programs to help children aged 0-15 years old who are dealing with their own diagnosis, or the diagnosis of a brother, sister, mum or dad.
By creating positive memories, Camp Quality helps change the cancer story for kids and their families. Please support my walk to give kids and families the break from cancer they urgently need. As they say at Camp Quality “laughter is the best medicine”, so please give generously so we can spread those smiles far and wide.”

We are proud to be supporting River’s Gift and stamping out SIDS. This year would have been River’s 10th Birthday, if he had not died from SIDS at 128 days old. We cannot imagine the heartbreak of waking up one morning, after a blissful sleep in, only to discover your baby cold in their bed. There is still no answer as to why children die from SIDS and it can happen to any child, for reasons unknown, up until 6 years of their life!
We have also donated an artwork to Alex and Karl, River’s parents in memory of River. We are also donating an artwork for them to auction at their next event, with all proceeds going to the Charity.
If you’d like to donate directly to River’s Gift you can do so here:

March/April 2021
For the month of March and April 2021 we are donating 5% of Profits to the Leukaemia Foundation, which is very close to Julia’s heart, but also requested by one of our mums in the community to sponsor her friend’s daughter.
Here’s the stories:
Julia’s father-in-law, Jim Crocker, passed away in July of 2018, just before she and Simon got married in November. It was a tough one and we did not really expect it happening that fast. He could’ve witnessed the wedding, and watch the boys grow up.
“Shine like Charli”
Our daughter Charli was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in May 2020 aged 9, and the last 8 months have been incredibly tough.
Charli is currently undergoing intensive treatment, and still has another 16 months of chemo, medication, needles, lumbar punctures and anaesthetics to go!
It’s a long and arduous journey that you wouldn’t wish on your worst enemy, and yet every time we’re in hospital (which is regularly!) we meet the most amazing children and their beautiful families who are having to fight this cruel disease… it’s not fair and there is still so much more work to be done to find a cure for Leukemia.
For that reason a team of Charli’s amazing supporters are taking part in the World’s Greatest Shave for the Leukaemia Foundation – we’re on a mission to shave the world from blood cancer.
You can donate directly to Charli here: https://secure.leukaemiafoundation.org.au/registrant/TeamFundraisingPage.aspx?TeamID=123281

“Providing families with the gift of time”
A Cuddle Cot is crucial for allowing the family of a still born to spend every moment with their child while they say their final goodbyes.
Essentially a Cuddle Cot is a cooling system, keeping the baby’s body cool – so the parent’s can stay with the baby as long as they need to.
You can donate directly to them at https://cuddlecot.gofundraise.com.au/

“A book of hope and support for parents navigating grief and heartache after the loss of a baby at any stage of pregnancy or in infancy”
The aim of the Miles Apart Foundation is that every mother leaving the hospital with empty arms will be provided a copy of the book.
The Miles Apart book, by Annabel Bower, is an immediate source of comfort and guidance to those experiencing loss. Through Annabel sharing her story she hopes that others enduring loss don’t feel so alone and allows the much needed conversations to happen.
You can find them directly at milesapart.online
If you have a foundation that you are supporting in memory of your angel, and we have created their artwork, we would love to support and honour your child further by choosing that foundation for our bi-monthly donations. Please send all nominations to us via our contact page.
